Sometimes a picture really does speak a thousand words. 📸 My eldest niece was born when I was 19. I always envisioned myself as the "cool aunt," aided by our (relative) age proximity and the fact she lives in Australia (so she wouldn't notice my lack of coolness!). But this week, my sister sent me this picture, and it hit me: of course she's glued to her phone, and of course, chatting with her aunt isn't topping her priority list. 😅 This coincided with a fascinating conversation with a CPO about the generational gap in the workforce and how we bridge it when it comes to leadership, motivation, and change management. It also brought Workday's Agent System of Record (ASOR) into sharp focus. Michelle Dawkins shared World Bank research at Illuminate last week, highlighting the shrinking and increasingly youthful workforce. This underscores the critical need for efficient, effective, and hyper-personalized employee experiences and engagements, driven by technology and AI. Regardless of department or expertise, business leaders must engage effectively, motivate, develop skills, and ensure alignment with goals and culture. To achieve this, we need AI experiences powered by HCM data, tailored to individual, role, and generational needs. ASOR isn't just about clean data for better AI; it's about closing the generational gap through hyper-personalized employee experiences. It's a topic I'm incredibly passionate about, and I look forward to sharing more insights in the coming weeks and months. #GenerationalGap #AI #HCM #EmployeeExperience #FutureOfWork #Workday #ASOR #Personalisation
