Did you know that your employees are also your customers and deserve equal attention as we give to our external customers? Too often, we focus primarily on external customers, neglecting the needs of our internal customers (employees). Internal customers must be heard because they are the front-liners and the first people our external customers interact with. Every action they take or do directly affects our business. As we strive for increased productivity and growth, we must recognize and consider the needs of our employees. This customer service week, let’s not only celebrate those we serve externally but also take care of and celebrate the valuable team members who drive our business from within. Effort Foundry hosted Customer Appreciation Day last Wednesday. We had about 70+ people attending from many different customers to help walk them through our Casting Process. It was fantastic to watch all employees engaging with our customers and answering all of their questions related to each step in the process, especially the hard ones! Customer Appreication Day is something Effort has done long before Brynavon became an investor, and we could not be more impressed that Effort takes a full day to invite customers under the hood. Some businesses might shy away from something like this, but this team welcomes the opportunity to engage face-to-face with their customers so there is more of a mutual understanding on how everything works. Often, there are customers that learn more about Effort’s capabilities, and that leads to more business. Along with that, we hear some issues that customers have with different orders, which allows our Quality Control team to immediately address these issues face-to-face rather than a customer waiting to hear back from a Message Box on our website. Overall, this day is a small representation of what makes Effort so special and why we are so proud to be a part of their team!
