The future of telecom is AI-native... There is a future where AI is not just a feature of telecommunications, but the very foundation upon which it is built. This “AI-native” approach represents a paradigm shift, moving away from AI as an add-on to a core, fundamental element integrated across the entire system. Here's why... 6G will be defined by AI: The next generation of cellular technology will be inherently AI-driven, with AI embedded in everything from hardware and software to protocols and chipsets. Optimization and Re-optimization: AI will allow for continuous network optimization, adapting to constantly changing environmental factors like weather and building interference. Ambiq is known for its ultra-low-power semiconductors and has joined the Edge Impulse ecosystem to enhance AI model deployment on its Apollo4 Plus System-on-Chip (SoC). The collaboration aims to provide developers with the tools to deploy advanced edge AI applications such as speech and health monitoring. The Apollo4 Plus, utilizing Ambiq’s Subthreshold Power Optimization Technology (SPOT®), offers significantly higher efficiency for AI processing compared to typical solutions.
