Today, LAMINA1 takes a critical step forward in its maturation as we launch our first-ever community election for the Open Metaverse Authority (OMMA). The Open Metaverse Authority (OMMA) is a governance entity designed to provide long-term economic stability for LAMINA1. Its first elected community seat will hold critical responsibilities, including: 🔹 Overseeing token issuance & inflation schedules 🔹 Adjusting staking rewards & unlock rates for RL1 and LL1 🔹 Shaping the economic framework that supports builders, creators, and users on the network This marks the first time that the LAMINA1 community itself will directly impact financial and governance decisions, bringing decentralized leadership into practice. As the nomination and election process unfolds, we’re looking forward to seeing strong, diverse, and invested voices step forward to help shape this ecosystem.
