Product managers are not grown on Trees! So for everyone in the industry, Please open up your companies to have Associate PMs with zero knowledge, or support others switching from other domains. We need this in the market, how else will we get great PMs? They won't get the required experience from watching online tutorials or reading books alone! They have to get in the field and learn from seniors. Invest in these people now, to find better talent tomorrow. #ProductManagers

You can tell how successful a Product Manager will be based on how curious they are. When given a problem, most will learn just enough to solve the problem. But great PMs will figure out impact of the problems and decisions, figure out how to prevent it, and document what they learned for someone else to learn too. Thinking about it again, successful PMs aren't just curious. They're curious and share what they learn with others so that they can be successful too. #productmanagement #career

🚀 Leveled Up My PM Knowledge 🚀 This past weekend, I decided to put my product management skills to the test with Paweł Huryn's 🇺🇦 assessment. Here's what I learnt - it turns out based on the test i'm an APM level product manager. I scored 18/20 not bad 😅. Which is an exellent result for the role APM. Key Takeaways: Product Discovery & Jobs-to-be-Done: The assessment focused heavily on these crucial areas, reminding me of the importance of truly understanding user needs and motivations. PM Journey: Scoring well is a great confidence boost, but the assessment serves as a reminder that product management is a continuous learning process – knowledge + experience is the winning combo. Just like certifications can't guarantee a PM role, this assessment highlights the value of practical application. Time to find some ways to put this knowledge to the test! Shoutout to Paweł! Huge thanks to Paweł Huryn 🇺🇦 for offering such a valuable (and free!) resource. His assessments are a fantastic way to gauge your PM knowledge and identify areas for improvement. 🎯 Product Manager = Constant Upskilling. 💡As PMs, we balance clients, products, and teams, juggling constant feedback, deadlines, and expectations. But in the middle of all this chaos we try to approach something with some frameworks or principles. 📢Something I have learnt from my experience while working with my directors, VP and CPO of product. 1️⃣Brutal Awareness is needed- Everything cannot be a priority. Whether you're managing tasks or cruising through life, identify what matters most and focus your energy there. Sometimes, saying 'NO' becomes a superpower. 2️⃣If you fail fast, Learn Faster- Mistakes are unavoidable, it's your ability to quickly adapt and learn fast that sets you apart. Don't let your failure stop you, instead make this failure as learning step. 3️⃣Iterate for Growth- You are not perfect, neither is any product. Develop the mindset of perpetual enhancement. To become the finest version of yourself, you must constantly reflect, improve and act. ✔These learnings remind me that frameworks that we use to build great products can also help to build better lives. #productmanagement #personalgrowth #life

Hard skills get you hired, soft skills keep you there. 💼✨ Early in my Product Management career, I thought mastering frameworks and roadmaps was the key to success. 📊 But I quickly realized: it’s the soft skills that make or break you. 🚀 Here are 4 soft skills that changed my PM career: 1️⃣ Empathy: 🤝 Understanding users, stakeholders, and your team goes beyond data—it’s about connection. 2️⃣ Communication: 🗣️ If you can’t tell a clear story, even the best product will fail. 3️⃣ Resilience: 💪 Rejections, delays, and failures happen. How you bounce back defines you. 4️⃣ Influence without authority: 🌟 PMs rarely have direct power. You lead through trust and vision. Mastering these isn’t easy—but they’re what turn good PMs into great ones. 🎯 👉 What’s one soft skill that shaped your career?
