Recently, there's been an insane trend and demand for staking assets from custody. However, custodians natively support staking a limited number of assets and are not in a hurry to expand their support. On the other hand, some custodians support a so-called Raw Signing feature, which allows signing any transaction on behalf of the asset holder within the custodian. I wrote a technical article with an example of how to stake ATOM tokens from Fireblocks (who is the one of the most famous custodians) , which might interest some colleagues and partners to better understand the concept of Raw Signing and how to use it for staking assets. Interestingly, with the help of our Platform API, you can perform stake/unstake operations without even touching the blockchain or blockchain-specific SDKs.

The latest U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission complaint against Consensys is serious - it shows the government has been doing their homework and they finally get it. In this article, ChainArgos CEO Jonathan Reiter takes apart the software code that is MetaMask Swaps and lets you decide whether what the code is doing acts akin to a broker (spoiler alert, it does). The spread of fake news and misinformation has become a global issue, and image manipulation is common. Facing this challenge, tracing the source of images has become a major task for media and digital content creators. 📸📸 Numbers Protocol, a company from Taiwan, uses blockchain technology to give images more than just a supporting role in news. With this technology, photos can self-verify their origin, revealing who took the picture, when and where it was taken, and even the original version of the image. This makes every image traceable back to its source. Special thanks to Sofia Yan, co-founder of Numbers Protocol, for joining us in this interview and sharing her insights!

Ever wondered how Flashbots use TEEs and sMPCs to prevent MEV backrunning? They focus on one user and one searcher. For more on how TEEs enhance security, check out our blog!
Ever wondered how Flashbots leverage TEEs+sMPCs to prevent MEV Backrunning? Lets delve right into it 👇 💠 To explain this very briefly, Flashbots focuses on one user and one searcher only. The user/searcher sends a backrun transaction to a trusted single builder. This builder will not extract value from the transactions and include the user/searcher’s signed backrun transaction back in the same block. 💠 TEEs provide provide secure remote computation. This is ideal in ensuring the accuracy of the output when a trusted program is run, even on an untrusted machine. 💠What happens within the secure enclave provided by the TEE is the searcher generating a search program and a secret key to the backrunning program. This search program then generates a backrun transaction from the user’s transaction 💠 Then, this backrun transaction is signed with the secret key provided by the searcher and sent to the builder, along with the user’s transaction. 💡 Now this leads to a clever question, if this does the job, then why do we need sMPCs? 💠 In order to uphold the confidentiality of the user’s transactions, the searcher’s input must not modify the program execution in anyway. This is where sMPCs come into action. 💠 Through sMPCs, multiple parties can generate a public function by only revealing the output and keeping the inputs hidden. This ensures that only the builder receives the user transaction and signed backrun transaction output. If you're amazed by the potential impact TEEs can have on security, then our blog on the applications and effectiveness would be your next best read. https://lnkd.in/eZJ6XFFW

抵禦量子電腦!為什麼零知識證明 Zero-Knowledge Proof 成區塊鏈護盾? Hey LinkedIn friends! Have you heard about the recent advancements in quantum computing? Google's new chip, Willow, packs a whopping 105 qubits, igniting some serious concern among Bitcoin holders, especially with experts suggesting that a 1,300,000 qubit quantum computer could crack Bitcoin's private key encryption in a day! But here’s the good news: blockchain technology has a response ready. Eli Ben-Sasson from StarkWare highlights that while quantum computing poses a threat to current encryption systems, the industry is not at a dead end. Enter Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK-proofs), which are already equipped with quantum-resistant features. This means that even as quantum tech evolves, our blockchain security can keep pace! Want to learn more about how ZK-proofs work and their potential to secure our digital future against quantum threats? Check out the full blog post here: https://ift.tt/Z31Kyak Let’s dive into the future of secure technology together!
