I landed in the world of ‘Tech’ by chance as I had a good ability to communicate business needs and articulate them to Technology teams. Technology permeates all we do every day and has exponentially grown throughout my 30+ year career. When I first considered joining KPMG, my background and aspirations seemed to align perfectly with what we offer, despite not being a SME in technology or having studied it formally. I saw the opportunity to articulate our goals clearly, outline who is accountable, and ensure we're all set up for success. What intrigued me was the pivotal role KPMG plays at the intersection of business and IT, emphasising how businesses can adopt new technologies effectively. Every day at KPMG, we solve problems, and I’ve found immense joy in this aspect. Whether your interest lies in numbers, security operations, or something else, the key is to find what you enjoy solving and delve deeper into that area.
