I’m thrilled to announce that I have officially started a new chapter of my professional journey as Director of Data Strategy at AIG! After eight years of driving data, technology, and AI strategy for reinsurance, I am beyond excited to get to know the primary perspective on the industry. I can't think of a better place to drive impact than AIG, with its focus on underwriting excellence and global scale. The insurance industry is undergoing a seismic change driven by increased frequency and severity of catastrophe losses, proliferating cyber risks, and macro-economic uncertainty. This opens opportunities for insurers like AIG, with a focused business strategy and the ability to effectively leverage data and AI to unlock business insights and efficiency gains along the value chain. A big thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way! I will forever be grateful for the opportunities that Swiss Re has afforded me and look forward to staying in touch with the many colleagues and friends I have made along the way.
