I want to connect with you, emotionally :)

"Strategies to avoid burnout." "How to prevent burnout." "Burnout is a killer." No. Burnout is actually good. There are many great things that have been achieved because of intense burnout. Inventing the iPhone. Making Apocalypse Now. Winning World War II. The truth is, if you push past max burnout, the human brain resets, like getting a score so high on an arcade machine it wraps around to zero. This is called "burn-in". Burn-in is a state of true enlightenment that can only be reached by not eating, sleeping or even drinking properly, and riding off pure adrenaline - that's what it's for. Scientifically, we have evolved to work past legal working hours. You sometimes hear people say "I worked so hard I have nothing left." Good. It means you're maximising your potential. That's burn-in. This is why I push my workers to the edge. The stress they feel is only their brains being too afraid to succeed. They say that diamonds are made under pressure. Well, do you want to make diamonds, or do you want to "practise self-care"? I'm making diamonds every time. I'm burning in.

I started typing a detailed response about how wrong this is, but then I reached enlightenment ✨ while scrolling through the comments. 😂 This definitely gave me a good laugh and a much-needed reminder not to take things too seriously. 😌

I love posts that say "Scientifically..." or "It has been proven that..." and then no references to back that up. Did you know that 74% of people are more inclined to believe a statistic if it is written on a nice graphic?

Excellent. Pressure is for tyres.

I believe you should not hand out worker of the month awards until they've had at least one cardiac arrest on the line of duty. It shows commitment and character.

Love it! Install a gong in the office. If someone collapses, the gong rings. It’s like Pavlov’s dog, but instead of drooling, we get innovation. Remember, folks, we’re not just working here; we’re transcending. Diamonds aren’t just made under pressure—they’re made by workers who haven’t blinked in three days. Food is for weak and sleep is for those who settle for cubic zirconia. Together, we’ll burn so bright we won’t need office lights anymore. Who’s with me?
