I am thrilled to announce that I am the Chief Retail Officer at Paula's Choice Skincare my all-time favorite skincare brand sold at SEPHORA. Paula’s Choice is known for its highly efficacious, game-changing, no BS, clinical formulations loved by #kaiagerber #selenagomez #thelipsticklesbians #golloria and #ilonamaher among many others, from all walks of life. The brand is a true Seattle ORIGINAL. We were the first brand to have ingredient transparency. We were “so bold” to put ingredients front and center on our packaging, giving power to consumers, well before anyone else. Our tagline “Beauty Begins with Truth” still resonates 30 years later.  This is a very special brand and opportunity – a newly created role and department focused entirely on retail marketing, retail education, VM, and innovation -- with a global eye. I will be working under the phenomenal CEO Erika Kussmann, and joining forces with the extraordinary VP of product marketing (and Sephora alum like me) Julie Kim, brand-savvy and brilliant CMO Tina Pozzi, bad-ass GM Pamela Henzi along with the best PR and marketing firm CMM led by Corinne Pipitone. Together with the incredible global team at Paula’s Choice, I will help them unlock, elevate, and amplify all retail touch points, to build and scale their business into greater, global heights. I leave my CMO role at Haus Labs By Lady Gaga with immense satisfaction, having been a key architect of Haus Labs 2.0. From building the blueprint, based on the Founder’s incredible vision, (a clean makeup brand for makeup lovers that was science-first with futuristic formulations ) and leading the teams to deliver breakthrough marketing (Irene Fordham), creative (Angela Kongelbak), and launching education (Anh Ho). From the creation of the new positioning, brand DNA, brand book, visual brand language, consumer insights, taglines, partnering on the product pipe, the extra 10% magic on packaging, to creating the global retail marketing vision and roll out to 15+ countries with first-evers and building three net-new teams: marketing, creative and education - I'm blown away by what we accomplished together. Across the whole company, we did the impossible. We re-branded and rebuilt, from the inside out, with new everything.  The results of this rocket-ship brand speak for themselves. Here’s to the next chapter of these beautiful brands and this amazing retailer — and to the incredible PEOPLE behind them (thank you all)!
