Looking at Russian long history of their “motherland” going back to the 15th century to date, If you show any form of weakness towards either their “Tsar autocracy” or their “USSR dictatorship” they will still carry on with their expansion plans to regain their former “soviet block empire” (Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia & East Germany) and also to regain their early lost from the Tsaris Empire (the rest of Sweden) so If Ukraine falls, then the rest of the former Soviet bloc countries would follow in due course, then, the rump of the EU bloc, then the UK, lastly Putin and China would then turn on the USA after all their allies had fallen, since by this stage, NATO would be no more. This is in essence an “appeasement” of Putin Russia’s since the early 1990’s, meaning that the lessons from European and world history of the 1930’s have now been forgotten, that any “dictators” do not stop at just one victor. A foot note: as part of my reading for my history degree I covered both pre and post Russian culture and history upto & including the late 1980’s.

I agree with the comments, we need lasting peace. Unsure on two things though how the land taken by Russia can be reclaimed under negotiations and secondly how we can ever trust the USA again who have torn up the rule book and expect us all to follow. Time for a stronger and independent (of the USA) Europe.

Europe including UK and Ukraine is bigger than the USA and 3x bigger than Russia. What we need in Europe is unitiy and leadership, as shown by you Keir Starmer 👍

European leaders need to apologise to President Trump for calling him a Russian puppet all because he doesn't agree with their ww111 warmongering attitude. They keep pushing Zelensky for something that they know very well is not going to happen. Ukraine wouldn't be able to defeat Russia even worse now that America has withdrawn its support. Even their own leaders in the Bucharest Summit 2008 spoke against Ukraine joining NATO because they knew the problem it would create. What has changed now? because Ukraine must remain neutral and be developed accordingly but they keep pushing the impossible. We all know Zelensky was ready to sign the peace agreement in April 2022 if he wasn't stopped by the sudden visit of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Zelensky and Ukrainian people have been placed in precarious predicament by warmongers to fight a superpower with nuclear weapons. The same EU leaders that are now running around discussing how to increase their defense budget because they know they also depended on the American military. How then is the Ukrainian going to defend them for the time being?

It will only work when Zelensky realises that this has to stop because if it doesn't, WW3 is going to happen. For a negotiated peace, there have to be concessions, it is as simple as that. Starmer is playing a very dangerous game here! Putin (not the brightest bulb in the box but not the dimmest either), will see the support of Ukraine as inflammatory, especially as the UK is a member of NATO and a nuclear power, and therefore a threat to Russia. That puts the UK firmly in the crosshairs of Putin. If his ploy goes astray, which all indications are that it will if nothing else changes, then WW3 is on the horizon and we will see British troops involved directly in this conflict. Dangerous, dangerous game!

Peace in Europe is directly proportional to peace in Russia and inversely proportional to peace in Ukraine. For example, the USA wanted to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, but it also sought access to Ukraine's mineral resources, valued at $16 to $40 trillion. Similarly, the EU and the UK aimed to follow Trump's approach by offering Ukraine debt to purchase missiles, encouraging prolonged conflict. In the end, they intended to use the debt trap to secure Ukraine's minerals for themselves. If Ukraine involved China in peace negotiations with Russia, it could be beneficial for both Ukraine and Russia. This could help them end the war directly. Moreover, if Ukraine and Russia collaborated in mineral mining, they could share the profits. In return, Russia might agree to withdraw from the Ukrainian regions it has occupied.

Right man for the job at the moment IMO. Calming things down, getting people together, getting new conversations started. Changing many people's opinions (including mine) about you and your leadership along the way. Good luck today.

Hi Prime Minister… maybe just give me your WhatsApp? 😆 Since you’re making all these important calls, when will you pick up the phone to social care? We’re ready and waiting. Ready to have the conversation. Ready to work together on the solutions we know are needed. Because while you’re building relationships with world leaders (which we totally get is very important), please don’t forget the people right here in the UK who keep this country going every single day. Social care teams are the ones making sure people are safe, supported, and living with dignity. We’re the people who keep life ticking over for the most vulnerable. We’re the ones who step in, show up, and give our all , day in, day out. And we love what we do. But we can’t keep being left out of the bigger picture. We’re not asking for the earth , just to be valued, recognised, and supported to keep doing what we do best. So, how about it? Pick up the phone. Let’s talk. We’re ready when you are.🙏 #ProvidersUnite #ValueSocialCare #WeAreReady #PickUpThePhone #SocialCareMatters
