🚀 Yesterday, I attended the insightful "Data on Campus # 2 - Cała prawda o polskich LLM-ach" event at Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu! What an intellectually stimulating and inspiring experience! 🇵🇱🤖 🧠 Two impressive Polish LLM projects, PLLuM and BIELIK.AI, are making incredible progress. It's exciting to see our national AI initiatives advancing so rapidly! 💼 Businesses are getting braver in adopting these models. Particularly impressed by BIELIK.AI real-world applications - a great sign for the Polish AI ecosystem. 🌊 Michal Domanski's captivating presentation "AI Baltic Trip" offered fascinating insights into the AI ecosystems of our Baltic neighbors, providing a unique perspective on regional AI development and collaboration opportunities. 🔍 The thought-provoking discussion on LLM evaluation challenges was enlightening. While current methods aren't perfect, it's crucial that we keep trying and iterating. The very nature of LLMs - designed to generalize across a wide range of subjects - makes evaluation inherently complex. Should we focus on specific, targeted evaluations instead of broad tests? An intriguing question to ponder. 🌟 The event showcased the vibrant Polish AI community, demonstrating how we're not just keeping pace but actively contributing to global AI advancements. The enthusiasm and expertise in the room were palpable. It's clear that Poland is carving out its own space in the AI landscape, balancing innovation with practical applications. The progress we're seeing in Polish LLMs is not just impressive – it's inspiring. Excited to see how these developments will shape the future of AI in Poland and beyond! #AI #LLM #PLLuM #speakleash #Bielik #PolishAI #DataOnCampus
There’s a lot to be done! But that’s why we’re all meeting during such events. To talk, inspire, and motivate each other to take action. Gotta push forward.
