Everybody says AI will change healthcare. But few really show how. Well, that’s how Shashank ND and Shravan Subramanyam wanted the 3rd digital health summit of the Confederation of Indian Industry to be different. Theory and potential are good. But what the world needs to see is how AI works in practice. I had the pleasure of doing a LIVE demo of our AI agentic system for autonomous diagnosis, and the reaction of the crowd was something to cherish. At 5C, using AI is so commonplace that we sometimes lose sight of the fact that this technology is nothing short of magic. Multi-modal AI agents are the immediate future of diagnostics, and my technical demonstration showed how these agents interact to deliver a human-like experience and interaction. Hospitals, diagnostic centres, radiologists and doctors interested in the future : my team would be delighted to show you the future (if you’ve not already experienced it with 5C 😁) I’d be amiss if I didn’t mention the extremely cool presentations and demos by Tushar Vashisht and Anuruddh Mishra :) I personally learnt a lot from it about interaction design and new approaches to include AI in the everyday.
Do share a clip of your demo if you can, Kalyan Sivasailam. I was a little nervous that you pulled a random image out of a web search and got your algorithm to analyse it, but like the rest of the audience, was thoroughly wowed!
Technology is indeed nothing short of magic, and what you and your team at 5C is doing, is nothing short of extraordinary! Always rooting for you, my man :)
Machaate raho!!
Exciting stuff!

4moKalyan Sivasailam back in 2016,while at IBM,we were the first to install commercial AI tech in Oncology & Genomics. Some like me were leading from the front across 4 yrs but in short, just like many fine inventions ,it had to bow out . I am sincerely hoping that few of you will make the difference. Radiology has been much spoken about as the silver lining. Wish you all the best.
