We're hiring two critical roles at UtilityAPI, looking for leaders for our Business Development and Regulatory/Policy functions. These roles are tremendously impactful opportunities to help connect the utility and DER communities, through strategic partnerships, smart policy, and scalable solutions. I know some folks get turned off by data: either because it seems too boring or too intimidating. Don't get me wrong, it can get pretty nerdy at times; but what doesn't in energy? In reality, much of what we do here is help build bridges between customers, solution providers, utilities, and regulators. We're a rare company with strong trusted relationships both inside and outside the utility. This gives us a unique ability to find win-wins and really move things forward. These two roles are critical to doubling down on that approach. If you're interested (and can look past the fact that the roles report to me), I really encourage you to apply. Even if you're not totally sure you meet the qualifications, please give it a shot. Folks - Industrious Labs is bringing on three new staff to help scale up our clean heat campaign - a campaigner, a field builder, and an analyst, all focused on the Golden State. I am easily enthused, but is going to be really fun. We manufacture so much in California, from tortilla chips and candy to beer, paper, medicine, and more. But making these products has long meant burning fossil fuels in communities—it's a big reason why California has the dirtiest air in the country. It's time to ditch the gas, break out some really big heat pumps, and start making our snacks with clean energy. So much of this is new - new team, new campaign, our first state-level team. The opportunity for impact and fun is sky-high. If that's not enough, two lucky candidates will get to work with my buds, Dominique Thomas 🦄 and Victoria Chu, who will manage the field strategist and analyst.
