☕ I love my #coffee. But it's not just about the caffeine pump for me; it goes so much deeper. Coffee has become one of my greatest #teachers, and it's woven into all my #mentorship and #guidance. Let me explain. How do most of us drink coffee? On the run, #multitasking, checking phones, answering emails, right? And what about the coffee itself? It's often the same order, day after day. For some, it's #espresso; for others, it's #cappuccino. We've automated this part of our daily #routine—it's a natural human tendency to save energy by automating repetitive processes. But it can also shrink our #selfawareness. When I feel the need to #reconnect with myself, I go all-in on new #experiences for a couple of weeks. I shake up my entire routine, #experiment with workouts, practices, food, and more. Earlier this year, I was about to order my usual oat cappuccino when I thought, "Hold on, if I'm experimenting, why not #explore what else is out there?" So I ordered a #cortado. And you know what? I liked it more. That one sip opened up a whole new world of coffee for me—different beverages, beans, processing methods, and more. It was a #revelation. My first sip of coffee now sets the tone for my day. I take it in #silence, never distracted. I ground myself for the day ahead. I savor the flavor to its maximum, inhale the aroma with eyes closed. Being #aware of what coffee I want in this specific #moment has taught me to ask similar questions about everything else in life. What do I truly want at this moment and time? It's also taught me not to #compromise on mediocre coffee, #conversations, #projects, or anything else that matters.
