Data shows Muslims are going to take over... Not quite... But Muslims are going to become a big influence... That's for sure. For the first time ever, the Muslim community has united and is acting as one at the ballot box (www.themuslimvote.co.uk). #TheMuslimVote I’m excited to share a new dashboard I’ve created that delves into the potential impact of the Muslim vote in this election. The dashboard is divided into three sections: Muslim Vote - Identifies high Muslim demographic areas, focusing on regions where the Muslim population is substantial enough to have a significant electoral impact. Muslim Sway - Highlights constituencies where the Muslim population could potentially sway the election outcome if they voted as a block supporting one party. Muslim Growth - Shows constituencies with significant Muslim population growth based on Census UK data from 2011 and 2021. Key insights from the dashboard: - 104 constituencies have a Muslim population of more than 10%, with 84 of those traditionally favouring the Labour Party. - 142 constituencies where the Muslim population outnumbers the majority (difference between the top two parties). - 44% growth in the number of Muslims from 2011 to 2021. The influence of the Muslim vote in this election cannot be underestimated. This data-driven approach highlights the potential power of a united community at the ballot box. #Election2024 #PowerBI #GeneralElection2024 #BallotBox #Labour #Conservatives #Constituency #MuslimVote #Politics #DashboardInsights
