I will follow the scientific method, nothing more or less, in determining the utility of AI. All the opinions as to whether or not AI can replace doctors is ad nauseum. Replacing doctors with AI are regulatory, liability, and acceptability by patients issues that will foremost be determined by scientific merits. Don’t get me wrong, I have no interest in displacing doctors. I just want to eliminate misdiagnosis by supporting doctors. The only question that matters to me is can AI detect disease earlier and diagnose more accurately than doctors. The answer lies in well-done, statistically significant studies—a cornerstone of the scientific method. The jury has already delivered its verdict on radiology—it's a yes. However, for early disease detection and diagnosis, the jury is still out. At SOAP Health, we aim to provide a definitive answer post our NCI and NHS studies completion. Only the scientific method matters, not opinions. #AI #HealthTech #Science #ArtificialIntelligence #Healthcare #Research #DigitalHealth #Diagnosis #DiseaseDetection
