Just 10 days in to 2025 and we've got companies announcing major shifts to their policies, return to office initiatives, and even layoffs. So it seems like a good time to remind you all that Zapier is hiring with openings across engineer, sales, marketing, support, and more. And we have quite a few roles on deck to be posted in the next few weeks. What you might like: - automation and AI is a very cool space to be in - we're remote, and that's not going to change as we've always been remote - we're global and get to work with diverse colleagues spread across the world - we continue to invest in DEI initiatives, for example, we added an additional ERG in the last year (for neurodivergent team member) and compensate those leaders. - we're parent-friendly with policies like paid parental leave, family-forming benefits, flexible PTO, and more. What you might not like: - we don't have an office (though you can use your "work well" budget for co-working space if you'd like!) - we work somewhat asynchronously and a lot is done in writing (though we encourage various productivity tools to support with this!) - expectations are high and always on the rise (though again, your team is here to support you!) Hello! We're looking to fill 2 senior engineering roles and one account executive role at Spexi. It's early days over here! These will be high impact roles. Job descriptions are down in the comments, but if you're curious let me share a bit more from what I've seen. The team is highly collaborative, supportive, and open to experimentation. The culture respects your life outside of work. We've got parents in our team. Every day we're growing together as we solve interesting challenges. Here's a snapshot of what's on our team's plate: * Geospatial data processing - building a standard data layer yet remaining flexible to support innovators doing novel forms of processing * Asymmetrical marketplace - one side is high-write, one side is high-read, and each has very different audiences in mind * Securing a platform full of user-generated content where data quality must be verified, tamper-proof, and filtered for privacy * Drone SDK integration so that our automated flight plans capture high quality data as safely and efficiently as possible * Decentralization - timing and judgement regarding systems that need to change rapidly vs systems that need to formalize protocol * Implementing robust CI/CD pipelines so that we can develop against a wide surface area effectively as a lean team It's worthwhile work! The impact has already been felt by local governments asking for our help as they respond to natural disasters such as the Chilcotin landslide and the Kelowna wildfires. Interested?
