Intuit is trying to position themselves as a friend to women-owned businesses. Don't be FOOLED. They are not. Intuit’s ability to maintain luxuries like this seems to come at the expense of small businesses. I have been attempting to resolve a critical issue with them for three months after a bad actor hacked my QuickBooks Online (QBO) account and attempted to transfer over $200,000. Despite promptly reporting the fraud and disconnecting my bank account from QBO, Intuit proceeded to pay the bad actor, and is now effectively holding my business hostage by withholding my accounts receivable. Over the past few months, I have spent countless hours on the phone with Intuit, yet no resolution has been reached. Their support process is disjointed, offering no direct point of contact, no last names, and no direct phone numbers or email addresses—an approach that appears to be intentional. As a small, woman-owned business, this situation has been devastating, with Intuit withholding payments from my customers. I strongly urge other small businesses to consider alternative service providers to avoid similar experiences.
