🚀 WE JUST ORGANIZED THE LARGEST INVESTOR EVENT IN LATVIA! 🚀 Previous week we brought together over 250 investors and 20 experienced speakers for the biggest investor event in the country, all while I coordinated everything remotely from Spain and kept track from Austria as I build my startup, Dealita. I'm proud to support Investoru Klubs in its mission to elevate the country's prosperity by making investments not just something exclusive, but the new normal. Two important points I want to highlight: 💡 Women in Investing: In March, we addressed the barriers and stereotypes facing women investors. To continue this conversation, we dedicated a special panel to the topic. Through my work with Dealita, I've noticed how rare it is to encounter women investors (my Excel sheet shows a 14:1 ratio). The panel was expertly moderated by Karina Kulberga, and the discussion included the fantastic Lotte Tisenkopfa-Iltnere, Olga Kazaka, and Liene Dubava. 💡 Sharing Failures: It's crucial to share our mistakes. When I share that only 3 out of 70 #TirgziņuTērzes podcast guests willingly shared their failures, everyone is shocked. 😁 In Latvia, we rarely discuss our failures, but we should! At the Investor Festival, we introduced "Investment F*ck-up Stories," where seasoned investors like Kaspars Peisenieks, CFA, Kristaps Mors, and Alina Zela CFEI opened up about their setbacks. A huge thank you to our incredible team: Kaspars Peisenieks, CFA, Kristīne Ieviņa, Andrus Vaher, Keit Ausner, and the amazing volunteer team from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. Together, we created an outstanding #InvestorFestival! 🎉 Investoru Klubs is growing, and I’m honored to help foster meaningful discussions about investing.
Dear Inta! Thank you for arranging such a nice event! It was really valuable!
You did an amazing job, Inta! I am so happy to have you working with us, you are a true blessing.
I help people develop really cool stuff, from ideation, prototyping to completed products.
5moWow! for two reasons... 1. So great to hear about people being proactive and assembling investment groups! 2. I really LOVED what you said about "failure" almost every mentor worthy of note told me... "If you want to increase your success rate... supper increase your failure rate... failure... no matter how ugly is the best teacher we have. I failed miserably at generating an E-Magazine called Long Live Latvia. The idea was to get a small group of entrepreneurs together and "Fail Forward" until we succeed at generating jobs that pay 25 USD per BILLABLE hour. Not every hour people worked. Just this morning I started a article to share with Latvians about it. Reading this post... causes me to go from ok about it... to... INSPIRED! Paldies for being that kind of person. I will be reaching out to you to connect! I ran out of connection requests with messages.... so here is link to our awesome and growing group. See? I am failing at a request yet learning at same time other creative ways! 🤣 https://www.linkedin.com/groups/59677/
