Last week, CGA’s Clark Jennings joined CNA's Asia Tonight to discuss the impacts of a new administration on global leaders and businesses and how best to prepare for the change of leadership come January. Clark discussed why global leaders should expect disruption and unpredictability under the new administration, which means it is more crucial than ever for effective collaboration between the public and private sectors. At CGA, we are committed to fostering long-lasting change along with our partners and clients. Take a look at Clark’s conversation with Loke Wei Sue. #TradePolicy #GeopoliticalRisk #SupplyChainResilience https://lnkd.in/eX-3G8fg

I’m not here to make a political statement, but this take on leadership is excellent. Proactive leadership planning and development is a key similarity we see in organizations experiencing growth and success - and it’s also a massive differentiator between them and their competitors. They’re prepared to fill gaps when gaps come. Leadership is an invaluable skill every single hiring manager should look for and strongly consider. Day to day tasks and responsibilities can be trained on the job but good leadership is developed over time and with experience. How are you finding and hiring strong leaders? I happen to know some if you’re ready to chat.

No surprise there possibly. News like this gives me the certainty of the fact that a great deal of work is to be done to enable a variety of political leaders to be nurtured so that they are given the chance to lead us with integrity. My pipeline for 2025 is full however as I have capacity to only work with 4 leaders per year. Here’s wishing to more alternatives in the sphere of our political leadership. https://lnkd.in/ete-dGpa #uselections #us #politics #leadership

As Election Night approaches on Tuesday, November 5, our role as leaders in shaping responsible and effective organizations becomes even more crucial. Here are five leadership duties to prioritize during this pivotal time: 1. Promote Civic Engagement: Encourage our teams to participate in the electoral process. Informed voting is a cornerstone of civic responsibility. 2. Foster Respectful Dialogue: Ensure that our work environment respects diverse political beliefs. Promoting open, respectful discussions helps build mutual understanding and tolerance. 3. Lead by Example: Demonstrate ethical leadership and integrity in all interactions. Our actions should inspire trust and confidence. 4. Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the developments and implications of the election. A well-informed leader is better equipped to make decisions that will align with both domestic and global shifts. 5. Plan for the Future: Regardless of the outcomes, consider the implications of the election on our business and prepare to adapt strategies as necessary. Proactive leadership will be crucial in navigating post-election realities. These responsibilities underscore our commitment to guiding our organizations with foresight, integrity, and an unwavering dedication to the principles of leadership and community involvement.
