couldn’t have said it better myself
Dictators always leave behind an economy worse than when they started. Socrates understood that for democracy to work, people need critical thinking. A free press in a democracy, for example, can report on famine, ask what the government is doing, and explore how things can be improved or avoided —something that is absent in a dictatorship. The sign that democracy is in trouble is when the press starts being censored.
Ukraine is overdue for an election..
What's interesting is that the NY Post has been a supporter of Trump. So to put this on its front page is clear he is losing support among American conservatives.
Trump's new draft UN resolution is a betrayal of Ukraine, of Western values and of everything the USA has stood for as a democratic country.. At the same time he blackmails Ukraine 🇺🇦 to grab their resources - disgusting behavior : US could cut Ukraine's access to Starlink internet services over minerals, say sources - https://www.reuters.com/business/us-could-cut-ukraines-access-starlink-internet-services-over-minerals-say-2025-02-22/
Over and over and over and over again- Budapest Memorandum you have to understand to even think you can have a conversation about this, and Nemstov/ . Putin Shot first. FACT FACT FACT REAGAN called russia evil empire, though it was looking good for a while but the nation needed gorbachev to stay on longer as partner at least to complete what seemed to be rebuilding - this is a relapse to the cold war era when the Russians stole the bulk of American nuclear technology by flooding money and influence on American scientists. America signed a contract to protect Ukraine which Putin violated. President Biden acted to uphold rule of law. President Trump freed the Taliban and told them when we would withdraw. when we all of us who know the truth matter talk about this, and since I task you this feel free to follow up with me on the simple facts of similar weights, suitable for public debate
PT2 we failed to protect Ukraine before the invasion and not we are trying to pull the horse back. We need a new strategy and yes it will be a painful one and one from which we learn that if we want the world order to continue we have to be willing to defend it upfront not after the fact. We need a new and reinvigorated UN -one that countries can’t use for their political or economic ambitions. Here is another example - Currently Venezuela has threaten to invade Guyana and annex nearly half its territory- the issue was settled over 100 years ago but the current admin wants to show its people they have power. This is all because if a recent oil find. Does the world wait until Venezuela invades guyana or should there be troops on the ground now to deter ? This is a similar situation as Russia Ukraine without the nuclear weapons.
In this world there are more than one Dictator. More important what we can do to fix things back to normal. Ok what to do to get it 1 flood Russia energy to Europe. And then Russia gives up the china energy supply. Then the US can create the golden age like have been explained because they can put extremely pressure on china trade. Then who will benefit from this deal and create growth? . Well russia of course the US of course Europe of course India of course . For Ukraine no NATO Set up peace force from both sides. For land is it really that important ? it should be settled in a not to difficult deal from both sides. This was the global trade cycle in the past and it did work and it created growth for big part of the world economy
And a war criminal too!

1wTrump ludicrously blames Ukraine for Putin’s invasion, which began on February 24, 2022. But the world literally saw this coming. My Indianapolis Business Journal column explaining Putin's impending invasion was published on February 11.
