I don't usually repost.
However, this is an Ecoscape of Retail Media in the MENA region created by IAB MENA, which till now, has not been adequately researched or documented.
So, in my humble opinion, this is well worth the repost.
But first, what is Retail Media? Simply put, this is any advertising you see within the #shopping environment, whether on the shelves of a physical store or in an online marketplace or even the online version of a store.
To truly understand #RetailMedia, we need to ensure we understand
- Where we can advertise (these are the Retail Media networks, basically the stores and online)
- What enables advertising from a #technology perspective (these are the Retail Media platforms) and from a #buyer/ #consumer perspective (the Customer Data Platforms that allow us to match what people want with what we have on offer and personalize or tailor what we advertise)
