How Small Wins and the Right People Create Big Momentum Two weeks ago, I shared how patience and self-confidence transformed my journey. But there’s another crucial lesson I’ve learned: The people you surround yourself with can shape your success. Back in 9th grade, after scoring just 42% and feeling defeated, I made a choice that changed my path. Instead of giving up, I decided to surround myself with the best—the scholars and achievers of my school. It wasn’t easy. 💡 They were ahead in studies. 💡 They pushed themselves harder than I was used to. 💡 To keep up, I had to push myself beyond my comfort zone. It felt like dancing with elephants. I struggled. It was uncomfortable. But it was also transformative. Being around people who were disciplined, focused, and driven forced me to level up. This reminded me of another important lesson: Every bit of help you receive on your journey matters. The support of a friend who encourages you, and the example set by hardworking peers—are the stepping stones to success. And they deserve gratitude. Fast forward to today, and this principle still holds true in my entrepreneurial journey. Surrounding myself with visionary leaders, hardworking teammates, and innovative thinkers has been one of the keys to growing Vertoz alongside my brother, Ashish (Ash) Shah. Here’s my message to you: Choose your company wisely. Be willing to step outside your comfort zone. And never forget to appreciate the help you receive along the way. What’s one lesson you’ve learned from the people around you? Let’s discuss in the comments. #Growth #Resilience #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #Gratitude #Momentum
Well said, Hiren Shah sir! Surrounding ourselves with the right people is truly invaluable. Equally important is cultivating a sense of gratitude for the journey we’ve experienced along the way.
