When I speak with Golang developers, they often ask about the market demand for developers across different industries. It's an important question to help align their expectations and give them a sense of the current landscape. The graph from the Go Developer Survey 2024 illustrates which sectors developers believe best describe where their companies operate. I'm curious to hear from my network: which industry do you work in, and are there any lesser-known industries or companies you find interesting? Share your thoughts below! ⬇

1yTechnology industry obviously innovates and adapts quicker since it is the root of it all. I bet since the adoption is so strong, the other industries are just lagging per usual and we’ll see the adoption across the board before too long. Some tech forward financial companies already have a very strong adoption of Go. The less technically inclined banks, not so much 🙃
