In light of #BelarusDays, I touched upon the EU relations with Belarus following the stolen elections in 2020 and the EU’s continued support to Belarusian political prisoners as well as independent media and civil society. Unfortunately, repression in Belarus is growing and the human rights situation is deteriorating. We must #StandWithBelarus and amplify the voices of those cruelly suppressed.
After the fraudulent presidential elections in Belarus in August 2020, relations between the EU and Belarus have progressively deteriorated.
