GROW2GLOW - Siemens coaching initiative for women ’s Post

🚀 Women in Science – Time to Act! 🔬✨ Today, on February 11, we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science – but at the same time, we know there’s still a long way to go! 👩🔬 Visibility and equality don’t happen by themselves. Each of us can use our networks to amplify the voices of women in science. Now is the time to take action! 💡 Coaching initiatives for women, including ours, empower women to build confidence and stand up against discrimination. We need bold voices who refuse to accept inequality! A great example of cross-network collaboration: The inspiring art project for equality that Utopiensammlerin e.V. is sharing today! 💜 Huge thanks to Susanne Gold , Birgit Eckart, PCC, CPQC 💥Kristina Sedmak Astrid Brüggemann 📣 Join in! 🚨 International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2025? The Rise of the “Broligarchy” is a Threat! 🚨 As we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we must acknowledge an urgent reality: Women’s presence in STEM is under siege—not in secret, but in broad daylight. The future is being shaped by a small group of powerful men from Silicon Valley and the tech elite, consolidating power and rewriting the rules to serve their own interests. 🔴 What is a Broligarchy? A fusion of “bro” (a term for wealthy, influential men, often in tech and finance) and “oligarchy” (a system where power is concentrated in the hands of a few). The Broligarchy consists of tech billionaires, venture capitalists, and AI moguls who dominate digital infrastructure, social platforms, and even political discourse. Their vision of the future is clear: one where their wealth and influence remain untouched—at the expense of democracy, diversity, and equality. 📌 What does this mean for women in science and tech? ⚠️ AI and algorithms that systematically disadvantage women. ⚠️ A tech industry that erases and excludes women’s contributions. ⚠️ Laws and policies designed to roll back gender equality. ⚠️ A digital space where misogyny and discrimination go unchecked. 🚨 What can we do? The future must not be dictated by a handful of powerful men. We need to demand transparency, accountability, and diversity in AI, research, and decision-making. 💡 Get involved! Support and amplify women in science, tech, and AI. 💡 Join feminist networks that push for equity. 💡 Challenge gender bias in algorithms and data. 💡 Invest in feminist technology and ethical AI initiatives. 🎥 My illustrations are part of a larger art project for Utopiensammlerin e.V. 🎨 Through my work, I aim to expose the threat of the Broligarchy—how tech billionaires wield AI and digital platforms to cement their power and erase diversity. 🔍 Hidden Masters Challenge: Every of my illustration contains a hidden masterpiece from a great artist. Try to spot them in my illustrations! 💥Kristina Sedmak Thomas Gold Tarek Shuieb ❤️ 💜 Who inspires you in STEM?
