🚀 Zacua Ventures launches its inaugural $56M early-stage #ConTech fund. The construction industry represents around 14% of worldwide gross domestic product and is responsible for producing 40% of total worldwide greenhouse gas emissions. Vivin Hegde, Mauricio Tessi Weiss and Juan N. founded San Francisco-based Zacua in 2022. The new fund has now been raised to capitalise on opportunities in the construction industry, with the support of a limited partner group including Procore Technologies, a provider of construction management software; Volvo Group, a manufacturer of trucks, buses and construction equipment; and sustainable construction materials company, Cemex.
