Beyond AI: AI - Media Blown Debris - Plutocrats vs Non-Plutocrats Driving through the snow-clad mountain stretches of Jackson Hole and Yellowstone Park last week reminded me to appreciate Mother Nature rather than dwell on the benefits and risks of AI. In the realm of AI, it appears that modern technical plutocrats and the media are the ones amplifying concerns. The more laid-back non-plutocrats don't appear overly troubled by the developments in the plutocrats' AI domain. Despite listening in on conference calls involving companies like Adobe, it appears that Generative AI hasn't significantly impacted the top and bottom line figures. Recent discussions surrounding AI seem more like media-fueled debris, driven by the plutocrats' inclination to instill fear in us, the emotional beings. #AI #Media #Technology #NatureAppreciation

Just came across Fei-Fei Li's #TED talk on #YouTube! Got excited by it as we are now trying to combine the different intelligences, that have reached a certain maturity level. To me, this signals the next phase of research in #ArtificialIntelligence, where we combine the different intelligences to give machines the ability to make a tangible impact in the real world. The talk also shows that there are many new research frontiers to be pushed in #artificialintelligence! And a flag to tell other people AI is NOT ONLY about #Machinelearning or #GenAI. There are many more unknowns we need to push and convert to knowns! I am very excited about it! However, we need to start moving towards building #trustableAI as well if we are to make AI work for humanity! What are your thoughts?
