The irony: everyone is a startup founder, yet few are truly building anything of substance. The AI tools are there, the taste is rare—what separates builders from button-pushers this weekend?

Can we please stay focused without the technological ADHD? Most of these companies won’t be around, because of the race to the bottom…. and the marketing fluff isn’t helping. Where is the quality in any of this?

For programmer, you must add "Windsurf", it is much better than Curson IMHO (although I am using mostly VS Code with Continue and Cline/Roo Code) Also, it would be nice if you disabled the spellchecker before capturing the image of the document, the red lines are distracting 🙂

Fair point, lots of tools... But if you're relying on all those products to be around in 12 months you'll likely be disappointed. It's also true many of these tools aren't quite 'there' yet, to execute to desired standards.

And this shift will create $100m/year businesses with very very few employees. Those that embrace it (humans enhanced and supplemented by AI collaboration at scale) will win

LOL. Register in an AI service, and you’re already a professional. Buy a car, and you’re a Formula 1 driver. Find a recipe, and you’re a Michelin chef. Using AI does not make you a professional. Using AI = getting a quick, low-quality, generic result while spending a lot of your time but minimal money. There’s no competitiveness because AI tools level the playing field for non-professionals. Everyone will end up with an average result. Also, consider the amount of time required to make AI produce a good result, as well as the time spent using all these services. AI is just an acceleration tool that complements existing expertise.

As the owner of an AI Agent Factory, I'm bringing everyone's dreams to life—and I'm quite comfortable with that. No need to build a startup when most of these ideas won’t bear fruit anyway. Meanwhile, I may lack the glamour, but at least I don’t owe money to investors.
