Gilmour Space Technologies’ Post

UPDATE: The launch window for #Testflight1 is now no earlier than (NET) mid-January. Why? Our team is still working through final testing and verification activities, and coordinating necessary arrangements with regulators such as CASA. With holidays approaching, a January launch will also give the team and our valued stakeholders a well-deserved break... and an extended window for our maiden launch. For updated info, visit our Missions page: https://lnkd.in/gkin_iq4 FAQs SAFETY ZONES: Indicative #Air, #Land, and #Maritime safety zones can be found at gspace.com/missions. (Note that this document is subject to change.) VIEWING: A list of potential viewing areas is available online. However, due to the high likelihood of delays or scrubs (e.g., from technical or weather-related issues), we advise against spectators for this first launch. Future launches may offer better opportunities for viewing. LIVESTREAM: We will not be providing a livestream as our priority (being both the launch vehicle developer and spaceport operator) is ensuring mission safety and success. A video of the launch will be shared soon after. Thank you for your understanding and support, and stay tuned for more updates in the new year! Ad astra. 🚀 (Photo credit: Zaid Dillon, Gilmour Space)

Great update David Jervis, remember, it's a journey of innovation not a race, and if it takes a little longer to make sure it’s perfect then so be it. We are all behind team Gilmour Space Technologies and eagerly awaiting, ''go for flight''. 🙏 Have a great Christmas. 🎅
