The Belgian accelerator and investor for startups imec.istart arrived in Amsterdam yesterday with 12 health startups. They kicked off their two-day program at the Amsterdam Health & Technology Center, where Robert Thijssen and I gave an introduction to the regional Life Sciences & Health ecosystem, on behalf of Sigra and Amsterdam Economic Board. About collaborations such as Zorg2040, Amsterdam Vitaal &Gezond and the digital care coalition, Health Data Space Amsterdam, the annual regional LSH Capital Match event, the 4 LSH innovationdistricts, location and funding opportunities. The ecosystem presentation was followed by a session with Tim Wolbrink of health startup Cory.Care. Corycare successfully met with iMec.iStart during the LSH CapitalMatch event in 2024.
