This week I've been reviewing MBA students' writing about developing innovation in their organisations. Deborah Ancona's writing about distributed leadership is something they connect with a lot. So I checked out this video of her discussing this. What struck me most was the power of being able to operate in a system where there is autonomy to act, yet alignment of action, with freedom to connect across what might otherwise be silos and decision making beyond organisational politics. It sounds to me like a great practice that would need continuous nurturing and honing to really make it work. https://lnkd.in/ecXvRiFb
