By now a yesterday announcement feels like last month in #AI time. But an interesting thing about Anthropic's Model Context Protocol is it isn't just retrieval even though its an obvious use case. It's a standard for exposing tools in a graceful way; hours after it came out, the KamiwazaAI team was showing me a direct integration into GitHub to create issues. The simplicity, amount of open code, and the fact that Claude 1022 can use it today practically guarantees this is going to blow up almost overnight. But its open-ness makes it extremely applicable - at KamiwazaAI we are already working on implementing it into our ecosystem. And that sound you hear? Armadas of GPUs heating up to fine-tune or pretrain MCP calling into models.
