💾 The AI Software Engineer Part 2 is out! What can you expect? 👩💻 We will use four simple examples to display the current limitations of LLMs, preventing them from generating software from a prompt. 🚧 We’ll discuss three main obstacles in the path toward a model-centric approach 🏔 We'll look at the two ways people are tackling this challenge (full mega model and hybrid) 🏅 We'll have a look at the current contenders 🔗 Link: https://lnkd.in/egRxu3A3 This is a super interesting space on the edge of research, if you too are researching it, let me know, and let's exchange!

Interesting read! You mentioned GitHub having access to the most data. I assume you mean private repository data but I wasn't sure what you were inferring by that.

Nice post! Hallucination is Inevitable (paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2401.11817). My pov is that if you want to achieve more than chatting (which is clearly amazing by itself with the latest LLMs), you have a trust issue. What you're describing as the "old-school" approach 😊 (coupling LLMs with the other sub-fields of AI) is the one we believe can create tons of value for businesses. This is the approach we're researching for controlling and optimizing business processes. I like the tooling approach for LLMs (Toolformer, MRKL,..).
