After 20+ years of working with founders, I've identified one constant that separates the most successful ones from the pack - their ability to consistently take action and "do it now." Yes, they're strategic and measured, but they don't waste time. They're responsive, nothing is too small for them, and they get sh*t done. So, I found it especially insightful listening to David Senra, creator of Founders Podcast (a must listen show for all entrepreneurs), on the life and successes of advertising business legend #davidogilvy. One of his business staples? Never postpone to tomorrow what can be done today. This is a hallmark of most great businesspeople. ✅ I dive deep on this and more with millennial startup prodigy David W. Riggs, founder of Pneuma, a high growth digital marketing agency. If you’re a physician, entrepreneur, or just someone looking to grow your business on social media, you’ve probably been wondering: how do I turn my social media followers into actual customers? Be real. Be authentic. I was looking through my pictures from WebSummit LLC last week and found this one. It took me back to the moment I took it. It was day 3/3 and approximately 6pm. The whole place was emptying and I had met my 138463827 founder of the week! I don’t even usually drink, but I NEEDED that beer! 🙈 I think it’s always important to be authentic and real. It’s easy to step away from meetings but to give people your time and respect is key. Then follow up and apologise to those you weren’t able to meet. Offering people the chance to connect. To those who reached out and weren’t able to meet. I’ve got you. If it’s not already, the invite will be with you shortly. Have a great day / week everyone. #bettercallpaul ☎️ —————————————————————— ✅Founders raising capital and / or looking to expand globally. ✅Funders looking for qualified deal flow and / or opportunity to collaborate and come on ‘Meet the VC’ our investor podcast.
