What do you think mine was, I looked at them and said “ I have none “ . In the mid to late 1990s a decision was made to transfer the risk of a company car to the employee. This resulted in luxory cars being a tax deduction and the Holden was replaced by BMWs and in some instances a Porsche could be claimed as a legitimate tax deduction. Meanwhile women could not claim a pair of stockings they were required to wear to work.
