📚 In 1999, we were one of the first startups in Italy to exploit the law that still nowadays regulates university spin-offs. The academic world at the end of the 90s was very different from now. Every thesis we supported, every internship we hosted and every scholarship we sponsored has been like a seed sown to make this network grow bigger and stronger worldwide. 🌍 Today, #ESTECO stands as one of the most active centers of the international engineering optimization community. Curious to learn more about the impact we've made along the way? Discover how we've transformed from a startup to a global leader 👉 https://lnkd.in/e2FXSqE5

I am thrilled to share my journey through the Business Internship course led by Professor R. Ian Angell. This course has been the pinnacle of practical and valuable learning experiences during my time at TWU, transforming traditional education into a real-world mentorship under Professor Angell's guidance. Each week, our online meetings dive into various facets of entrepreneurship and startup culture. We work in groups, tackling different aspects and presenting our findings, followed by discussions and insightful evaluations from Professor Angell. Beyond our regular sessions, we have our channels on Teams where Professor Ian shares lots of interesting and helpful resources with us, such as LeaderImpact's event, Enactus, some great organizations, some interesting podcasts, and some of his interesting experiences and observations during his travels. A pivotal part of this course is that we have the opportunity to partner with a local tech startup business named Careerin, founded by Kenneth Ip. My role in helping build the startup's ecosystem has not only allowed me to step into the tech industry but also to expand my professional network significantly. Just last night, we wrapped up our regular meetings with a comprehensive review of the topics covered over the past four months. I had the privilege of presenting the "Key elements in a pitch deck," I used this course as an example to do a sales pitch to express my gratitude to Professor Ian Angell. So who are Marco Angell, Zhuoxiang Jiang, and Marco Jiang? 😂 Looking ahead, I am eagerly anticipating our final presentation next week, where we will report on our project with the intern business. This presentation is not just a summary of what we've learned but a showcase of how we've applied these lessons practically. I am proud to be part of this innovative course and the vibrant TWU community. Thank you, Professor Angell, for your unparalleled mentorship and support. #TWU #BusinessInternship #Entrepreneurship #TechIndustry #Pitchdeck

At our recent CIP Roundtable, Day 1 focused on the important corporate and societal goal of sustainability and the role of IP and IP management in facilitating sustainable development. Jonas Lindgren provided an IP Management framework and led a discussion about how IP-based business models can facilitate both openness and profitability. Further information from Konsert Strategy & IP can be found in their related white paper: https://lnkd.in/e_sPHwZp William Mansfield discussed the contribution of LexisNexis IP in supporting World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO in analyzing the patent contribution of technology firms in relation to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The full report is available here: https://lnkd.in/d6MhH2ab. At CIP, we see IP as a key enabler in facilitating innovation to overcome our most pressing sustainability challenges. This is why Sustainability will be the next theme for CIP FORUM 2025, which is fitting for our 25th anniversary. #IP #intellectualproperty #innovation #stem #education #strategy #engineering #law #business #management #internship #gradschool #entrepreneurship #stem #ICM #troublemakers

Yesterday I had the opportunity to participate in two star-studded panels at Professor Jungkyu (JK) Suh's NYU Stern School of Business Entrepreneurship class. Had a great time speaking alongside Rachel Josepho, Drew Lederman, Eli Korngiebel, and Anja Westhues! If you're curious about what students in an undergraduate entrepreneurship class would ask a panel like this, here's a roundup of a few core themes: 1. When is it "time?" As in, when do you know it is time to go full time on your company, rather than pursuing internships or other typical professional opportunities? 2. How do you maintain motivation to create your own path when all of your peers are not? (This is especially the case at a school like Stern that naturally skews towards corporate opportunities.) 3. How do you find your cofounder, and how can you vet that the person you're working with is a good fit for the long term? (And furthermore, can your friend become a cofounder?) 4. To what extent should branding be prioritized in relation to product development? Especially in the context of the importance of building community nowadays. It is always a pleasure to speak directly with the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Thank you Professor Jungkyu (JK) Suh for the opportunity! Looking forward to continuing to spread the lessons that we learn from our Coeus Collective interviews in classrooms moving forward 🚀

Starting My Second Semester of Junior Year at UC Berkeley! 💙💛 As I step into another semester, I can’t help but reflect on how far I’ve come—from navigating the challenges of being a first-generation student to embracing every opportunity that comes my way. Each semester at Berkeley brings new lessons, growth, and unforgettable experiences that continue to shape my journey. Surrounded by incredible peers, mentors, and opportunities, I’m more inspired than ever to push boundaries, pursue my passions, and work toward my long-term goals in entrepreneurship, marketing, and beyond. Balancing academics, internships, and personal projects isn’t always easy, but I’ve learned that resilience, curiosity, and a strong support system make all the difference. Here’s to another semester of hard work, learning, and striving to make an impact—both on campus and in the world. To my fellow students: stay focused, stay inspired, and remember why you started. The journey may not always be linear, but every step forward counts. Excited for what’s ahead! 🎯✨ #UCBerkeley #JuniorYear #Resilience #Growth #Entrepreneurship #HigherEducation

Sometimes we focus so much on developing external relationships that we overlook the importance of nurturing and strengthening those connections within the organization, which are key to creating a cohesive, inclusive, dynamic, and creative work environment. This collaborative approach has been a fundamental part of our strategy at DIRECCIÓN DE EMPRENDIMIENTO E INNOVACIÓN , enabling us to maximize the impact of our initiatives and ensure that every project benefits from the collective knowledge and resources available. Our synergy with #intecmoves has been essential in enriching our value proposition for students, offering them opportunities to gain practical experience through internships . We also provide access to a lineup of international faculty and speakers who are up-to-date on entrepreneurship and related fields, while integrating cultural activities, intellectual development, and affiliation with high-value student networks. This is a key part of what differentiates our approach. Initiatives like the Semana INTECultural y de Emprendimiento, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), are a crucial platform for students to develop not only technical skills but also a sense of community and belonging, enriching their educational and personal experience. #intecmoves plays a vital role in creating opportunities for academic and professional growth at INTEC, as demonstrated by the recent session in my course Entrepreneurship and New Business, where we had the honor of welcoming Dr. Oskar Kosch from the Krakow University of Economics, one of our international partners. Dr. Kosch led a class on "Managing Reward-Based Crowdfunding Projects," which provided our students with a unique opportunity to broaden their perspectives and delve into the complexities of managing such projects. Even yesterday, we were still discussing and exchanging ideas on the topic. Many thanks to #Dr.Kosch and #INTECmoves for making this valuable exchange of knowledge and experiences possible. A young Steve Jobs, just 12, dared to dream big. With courage, he picked up the phone and called tech legend Bill Hewlett, boldly asking for parts for a school project. Impressed by the young innovator’s initiative, Hewlett not only sent the parts but also offered him an internship. This early spark ignited Jobs’ lifelong passion for technology and design. Remember, sometimes the greatest opportunities are born from simple questions. By taking the initiative and asking, you could unlock a world of possibilities.
