Starting a project to develop AI models involves navigating a complex landscape of technological challenges and requires careful planning, problem-solving skills, and a strategic approach to AI integration.

What do you do when you want to innovate with AI but you don’t know where to start? According to some new research I spotted, businesses are struggling with their initial foray into AI tools. While 69% of organisations view AI as a tool to bolster innovation, they’re not quite sure how to implement solutions or help their teams navigate this transition. They are stuck! I hear this sentiment first-hand every week (across the world). I believe that organisations should initially focus on using AI to boost efficiencies and accelerate processes across teams, as these can have a huge impact on innovation. By starting with smaller business operations use cases to learn “how,” businesses can help support the workforce at every level and unlock business intelligence faster, establishing model risk and maturity frameworks. The initial (slower) learning will help empower and prepare the organisation for the “how” of longer-term innovation and revenue growth.
