In my opinion, the 𝐠𝐩𝐭-4𝐨-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢 model represents a significant advancement by OpenAI. Based on my experience and understanding, models like 𝐠𝐩𝐭-3.5-𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐨 and 𝐠𝐩𝐭-4𝐨-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢 are adequate for most AI applications if used efficiently. Cost is a major concern for many AI startups and entrepreneurs, who are often willing to compromise slightly on performance to achieve cost savings. Luma AI has just launched Dream Machine, an AI system that can transform text descriptions into videos. It's available for everyone to use (depending on the traffic).   The competition to dominate the AI-generated video market is intensifying with the likes of OpenAI's Sora and other startups. Luma AI decided to attract some attention by making Dream Machine, a prompt-to-video tool available for everyone, differentiating itself from OpenAI.   Dream Machine functions similarly to AI chatbots. Users can input a prompt and generate a short video. The time it takes to receive your video depends on the workload. The demand was so high right now that Luma AI had to increase computing power to handle the traffic. This, of course, comes with costs, but the tool is attracting a lot of attention for all the right reasons.   Luma AI has raised over $70 million, with $43 million from its Series B as of January 2024, according to TechCrunch.   I'm curious about OpenAI's next move.
