A bit of light xmas reading. Fascinating read so far: if you're working with big complex problems and multiple teams who are transforming into an Agile delivery, this book might help! Thanks John Cumming for the recommendation. I wonder if I'll finish it during the holidays?!

I got a lot out of this book. Really good thoughts on prediction vs forecasting. I recommend starting with the case studies THEN read thru how to build a Cumulative Flow to be more Predictive in nature vs those that are prebuilt into the usual agile tools.

It turns out I know an author! Check it out!
All, I'm delighted to announce that my new book on Agile adoption ('Ridgemoor') was just published by Technics Publications in paperback and for Kindle. It's a 'business novel', so hopefully very engaging. It should help IT leaders in organisations where Agile hasn't fully-landed, and is still clashing with established practice. (A pretty common problem.) So far, just five-star reviews. Let's hope you agree! https://amzn.eu/d/14MEn4m Technics Publications #Ridgemoor #Agile #EnterpriseAgility

I am setting a personal discipline of reading 1 or more books a week, with a balance between professional topics, personal nonfiction, and fiction. The latest/current book is Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great by Esther Darby, and Diana Larsen. I'll be putting some of some of the 'newer' ideas and activities into practice.
