Edmond de Rothschild’s Post

As the world undergoes major changes, Ariane de Rothschild, CEO of Edmond de Rothschild and President of the Edmond de Rothschild foundations, participated in a roundtable titled 'Capital for Good: The Future of Philanthropy' at Investopia in Abu Dhabi, which explored innovative models of philanthropy. During this roundtable, alongside HE Badr Jafar, Special Envoy for Business and Philanthropy, United Arab Emirates, and Tsitsi Masiyiwa, Chair of the Higherlife Foundation in Zimbabwe, Alfonso García Mora, Regional Vice President, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean at the IFC, and moderated by Becky Anderson from CNN, Ariane de Rothschild shared her insights on the evolution of philanthropy over the past twenty years, a period during which the emphasis on positive impact has become crucial. This shift has moved philanthropy from charity to a more planned and strategic approach. Driven by the desire to make a meaningful contribution, this transformation seeks to address the root causes of challenges, ushering in a new era of philanthropy aligned with the initiatives of Edmond de Rothschild Family Philanthropy, which encompasses several operational and grant-making foundations. As Ariane de Rothschild noted in the discussion, "It is our responsibility to stay flexible and adapt to new challenges to best serve future generations and drive the world forward.“ Discover more about the Edmond de Rothschild Family Philanthropy : https://lnkd.in/ea9R7Edc #Investopia2025
