Nowadays, we are starting to see self-service carts in markets, which are a mobile combination of scales and cash registers. To fulfill their role—being easy to use while protecting the seller from fraud—they need to be meticulously equipped with ML technology. 🛒 The shopping cart was invented in the 1930s in the USA to encourage consumers to shop more conveniently and in greater quantities. As is often the case with new inventions, it didn’t immediately garner enthusiasm. Men found it too feminine, while women thought it resembled a baby carriage too much. However, despite initial skepticism, customers eventually "bought" into it.
