I'm happy to see the U.S. #PreventiveServicesTaskForce recommend this. World Health Organization recommendations are rather complex. #BreatCancer kills >500,000 #women each year. In resource–poor settings, most #women with #BreastCancer are diagnosed at an advanced stage of disease, and their 5-year survival rates are low (10% – 40%).  In settings where early detection and basic treatment are accessible, the 5-year survival rate for early localized #BreastCancer is >80%.
