A Donkey with a carrot on its head is way more nimble than a Unicorn.

There is a lot of great marketing tactics out there showing how fantastic a company is and how happy all the staff are, let's sell the EVP! The majority of companies have employee challenges, particularly the big ones and these are often well hidden. When I see a company 'over promoting' how great their culture is I am very dubious. Overall I do like Employment Hero and admire their CEO, having meet him in person. However the end of year party did look like schoolies and flaunting that stuff across social media is a little arrogant. Plus they call their employees heroes. Really? A bit insulting to all the real heroes out there. Our emergency services are the real heroes, not some teamster sitting behind a computer all day. That I hate!!!

We know a few donkeys with the "equivalent of a carrot on their heads"! Closing the year off with another bang!

Oh one of my clients uses employment hero so I'm using it for the recruitment piece and it's so bad. So hard to get support on the platform too! Not surprised about all of this because it doesn't feel like they prioritise the customer so imagine being in a role where you need to be accountable to the customer - you're letting the employee down at this point.
