Manus, the new AI product that everyone's talking about, is worth the hype. This is the AI agent we were promised. Deep Research+Operator+Computer Use+Lovable+memory. Asked it to "Do a professional analysis of Tesla stock " and it did ~2wks of professional-level work in ~1hr! The company is based in China / Singapore. Founder says it uses Claude Sonnet 3.5 for execution and a special post-trained Qwen for planning. Yichao, the founder, tells me "agentic capabilities might be more of an alignment problem rather than a foundational capability issue." Here's the Tesla stock analysis website: https://lnkd.in/gQi3sXdW
Thank you for sharing Deedy Das. This has a nice UI and functions well as a tearsheet type product. But there are indeed some issues to iron out. In the Valuation analysis section, the DCF returns a Bull Case value of ~$240/share, but in the Price Targets & Scenarios section the Bull Case is $500/share. Such inconsistency would not be particularly useful when making an investment decision. How might the Agent respond when asked for the cause of such a discrepancy?
It’s neat, but what’s the market, is it honest, is the output valuable? I feel like we’re in the era of kitchen gadgets for AI products, and here’s a new egg slicer.. A lot of this stuff is unintentional digital con artisty. Like the report doesn’t mention volatility hype or Elon… or any of the ridiculousness of Tesla. Is this financial advice? Should it be regulated? Where’s the disclaimer? Who is liable?

Here's part of the output from Ollama/llama3.2 on my Dell Laptop **Conclusion:** Tesla's financial performance has been volatile over the years, driven by various factors including aggressive expansion plans, increasing competition in the EV market, and fluctuations in global demand for electric vehicles. While the company's strong brand recognition, efficient production processes, and growing demand for EVs position it well for long-term growth, investors should be aware of the risks associated. **Rating:** We rate Tesla stock as **Neutral**, reflecting its volatile financial performance, competitive landscape, and valuation. However, we believe that the company's strong brand recognition, growing demand for EVs, and significant investments in research and development position it well for long-term growth. **Target Price:** $350 (up from $250) Our target price is based on our analysis of Tesla's financial performance, industry trends, competitive landscape, and valuation. While we expect the company to continue growing, driven by increasing demand for EVs and improving profitability, we also anticipate that its stock price may experience volatility due to factors such as increased competition and regulatory risks.
so in short, they're the first company to build out a fully fledged toolkit and connect them together with a plan-execute design. we're at a point where llms are good enough for agents to expand horizontally rather than relying solely on compute.
Deedy Das - looks awesome - the website is a nice outcome - I'd imagine all that work that analysts used to do formatting and displaying data will basically disappear and will be automated. Is the data / analysis correct though? It seems to suggest TSLA never went part $ 290 in the charts but it was at $ 450 ++ after the election in December?
Shubham Singh Views?
is there any TESLA investor who CLAIMS this is really helpful? I doubt. market would have already absorbed what's there in this report ( in fact it is just packaged nicely)
Its good but: 1) This is not ~ 2wks of professional-level work 2) The output isn’t that great

3dTwo weeks of analysis by human experts? Hardly. To say "underwhelming" would be kind. With Perplexity’s Deep Research, you can generate a higher-quality output on $TSLA in just 15 minutes — or even less. Who’s pumping up this Manus thing, and for what purpose? Could the next CCP plenary session be approaching fast, and someone needs to deliver a five-year AI growth plan in two years in a spirit of the “communist competition”? 😂
