I always get a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of different ways to store data, so I made a little “cheat” sheet to keep myself from madness 😮💨 Amidst all the hype about AI, I think the most important part of any project is its data and the way you interact with it. Before starting to build, you’ll always need to ask yourself first what kind of data you have, where the sources are, do you need to access the data in real-time, how much data, how to process it, and so on and so forth. 🤯 Even with AI, Data Engineering remains the most integral part, and putting effort into it will reward you in the future!

AI and data science are different from most other forms of product engineering. While most projects adhere to a path of defined milestones, AI needs gigantic upfront investment with little certainty of success until the very end. Unnerving-but this is the paradox that underlies success.
