Think of a modified bear trap that acts like a Wheel Clamp Lock. Drone goes over it, the spring loaded clamps activate, done. If the clamps just grab the wheel, the drone will bounce everywhere as the base bangs along around it. If the clamps grab high on the sides, then the drone is held off the ground as it's wheel is just free spinning.
