Coach K spoke to the 2024-25 men's basketball team and shared that the 'next play' mentality has been the key to Duke's success over the last 25 years. Next play mentality means no matter what just happened - made shot, missed shot, turnover, block shot, etc... - your mind has to be on the next play. This mentality comes from being prepared and nothing to do with raw talent. Next play mentality translates well to company-buildling and what the best founders possess. The only constant is that good and bad things will occur weekly, if not daily. Never let perfect be the enemy of good. Producing my first ever 1 hour long feature video involved a lot of learning. It began with working out what kit I needed, then how to use it, and then how to best bring everything together. The improvements are visible in the video itself as it goes on but, despite the imperfections at the front end, I'm proud of what I've put together for BallinEurope ahead of the Irish basketball season. You learn, you make mistakes, you learn more, you get better. It's a hell of a journey and one that's really only just getting started.
