☢️ Whether or not the mass cuts proceed at DOE and NNSA, the US already finds itself in a precarious strategic situation. Weakening the enterprise benefits neither a build-up or build-down approach and potentially ties the hands of negotiators in ambitious talks with Moscow or Beijing if President Trump’s disarmament vision is pursued.
